Metastorm Customer, Kansas Department of Corrections, receives Leadership in Enterprise-Driven Results Award

Posted by: Metastorm PR on: October 13, 2009

Metastorm today announced that the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) has received the Leadership in Enterprise-Driven Results Award for its Strategic Technical Architecture Roadmap (STAR) Project. The award was presented by the 1105 Government Information Group as part of the 9th Annual Enterprise Architecture Conference in Washington, D.C.

Utilizing Metastorm ProVision® software and Ken Orr’s Business Enterprise Architecture Modeling (BEAM) methodology, the KDOC STAR project developed as-is and to-be business, data, application, and technology architectures for the entire agency. KDOC also established a strategic 10-year roadmap, based on a “business-first” portfolio view of modernization initiatives that reflects external interfaces to federal, state and local business partners.
