Today Metastorm announced that the Army National Guard has successfully implemented the Metastorm BPM® software to streamline processes in support of the Yellow Ribbon program. Metastorm donated the software specifically to help GAP Solutions (GAPSI), a contractor to the Army National Guard, provide coordination and support of services to returning war fighters as they reintegrate into society.
In a show of support for U.S. troops, Metastorm agreed to donate its BPM software for the Yellow Ribbon Support Specialist program portal and related business processes. The Metastorm BPM suite is widely used by both U.S. Federal defense and civilian agencies, so Metastorm expanded GAPSI’s existing Metastorm software license agreement to cover the Yellow Ribbon Project at no additional cost to GAPSI or the Army National Guard.
The integrated portal/business process management solution has produced excellent results, including an estimated savings of 4,752 man hours per year previously spent on paperwork and manual activities related to the travel process alone – time that can now be devoted directly to supporting returning soldiers rather than administrative tasks.
Metastorm is proud to have been able to contribute to the safe and productive return of our country’s soldiers by donating BPM software to the Yellow Ribbon cause.
