Today the Quality Expo 2009, hosted in Antwerp, Belgium, has opened its doors to business, IT, quality, and process managers and risk and compliance officers to provide hands-on access to the newest tools and broadest array of technologies available to help firms improve quality, streamline processes and compete globally.

“I was really pleased to be asked to present at today’s event,” said Stefaan Lambrecht, Regional Director, International Operations at Metastorm. “We have been working with Belgian firms for quite some time now to help them identify where they can improve processes within their organisation. In the panel session today I discussed our business proposition which is based on bringing strategy, analysis and execution together to help companies optimise processes. This integrated approach is proven: it starts with a modelling environment to visualise the entire enterprise so that you have a clear understanding of the cause-effect relationships between business strategy, business processes and the systems and technologies that support them. It then moves to the analysis and the simulation part and then to the execution element with the adoption of BPM.”

Other topics were also discussed at the conference including integration of management systems, security, energy management and Six Sigma.
