Because Process Matters

BPM and Green technology being showcased at CeBIT 2009

Posted by: Metastorm EMEA PR on: March 3, 2009

CeBIT, one of the most important global IT fairs, today opened its doors to visitors in Hannover, Germany and hot themes for this year’s show promise to be Green IT and Business Process Management.

An area of the exhibition floor is entirely dedicated to presenting the latest and most innovative Green IT solutions to help firms be more energy efficient as well as reduce their carbon footprint which is something that Metastorm has already been working on with its customers by consolidating their systems for example.

And as firms look to reduce inefficiencies and their internal resources in this challenging economic climate, it is natural that the event organisers are also focusing on BPM technology.

In lean times business process needs to be viewed as a long term strategic investment that ultimately will bring real ROI to a company.
