Greg Carter, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development

As Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development, Greg leads Metastorm’s research and development group and is responsible for setting the company’s technology and architecture vision. In addition, he oversees the development and rollout of software and industry solutions to meet market needs. In this role, Greg works closely with customers, industry influencers, and the product team to ensure that Metastorm remains a market leader and innovator.
Greg has played an integral role at Metastorm since 2000 when Metastorm acquired Software Systems Group – a services company he co-founded and ran as Vice President and Director. Through his direct work with Metastorm’s customer base, Greg has gained extensive experience architecting and implementing enterprise-level business modeling and process improvement solutions across a broad range of functional areas.
Prior to joining Metastorm, Greg held various development and systems integration roles in the document management space and has over 15 years of experience in architecting and deploying process-centric enterprise applications for various industries.
Laura Mooney, Vice President of Corporate Communications

Laura Mooney is Vice President of Corporate Communications for Metastorm. In this role, Laura is responsible for worldwide corporate communications and leads all efforts related to corporate positioning, creative messaging, brand development, marketing communications, social media, public relations and industry analyst programs.
Laura has over 18 years of experience in various technology marketing leadership positions with companies such as IBM and Manugistics, in addition to starting and running her own marketing consulting firm. She is a frequent speaker at industry events and has published numerous articles and ebooks.
Laura holds a BBA degree in Information Systems from James Madison University and an MBA degree with a Marketing concentration from the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business.
